A Little bit about myself
My name is Ryan and I am a professional Sports Injury and Remedial Massage Practioner.
I am qualified to a BTEC level 5 Diploma which is currently the highest level for a Sports Massage Therapist in the U.K
I have been doing massage now for over 3 years and I started doing massage via the Holistic route and gained an ITEC diploma in Swedish Holistic Massage at the Jade College in Kempston. I used this as my beginning so that I could gain experience in all the known traditional techniques.
I completed my Sports Diploma at the Oxford School of Sports Massage (OSSM) in 2009/2010 where as part of my studies I had to complete comprehensive examinations, course work, research and undertake practical experience to which I gained over 200 hours practice. During my training I was lucky enough to learn from the top massage therapists in the country who shared their knowledge and expertise with me so that I am trained to the highest possible standard.
For my experience I spent the 2009/10 season working for Thrapston Town Football Club who are in the Hereward Division 1 of the United Counties Leage, here I was able to have access to a whole variety of Injuries, Complaints, Postural problems.
I have spent the 2010/11 season working for PETERBOROUGH UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB assisting the club physio Peter Corder with the players injury and preventative management of injuries, to which we have just won promotion back to the Championship for the 2011/12 season, where I am the clubs full time Sports Injury and remedial massage therapist.
I am fully insured through Balens Insurance Services and I am a full member of the ISRM
