What is Sports Massage?

Sports Massage is a form of traditional massage that incorporates special techniques that help a therapist to assess, identify and treat specific problems that they may be present.

You do not have to be an athlete to benefit from a proper Sports Massage treatment. I treat people that range from Dog walkers to Elite Athletes

Some people also believe that you have to have an Injury to benefit from a Sports Massage but that is not always the reason for a treament as they can be used as part of a training regime to help maximise training and fitness goals, whether it be relieving tension to just helping you to relax after a hard day at work, they are all part of a proper massage.

There are many benefits of a Sports Massage here are what I believe are the most important:
